Your web pages can rank higher in SERPs,if and only if your website is optimized for search engines —  keyword usage,  technical framework of your web store, and whether your web store is mobile friendly all leave a high dependency on SEO optimization.

E-commerce SEO Guide

To reap the benefits of your SEO efforts, here we list 4 areas to consider when setting up your e-commerce SEO strategy:

Content

How can you get along with content optimization? It’s quite simple. Include the search terms for which you would like to be browsed in your content: with mentions to your URL, H1 header, content, meta description and meta title.

Technical setup

The technical aspect of your site should never be compromised: like for instance HTTPS, responsiveness, page loading speed, indexation, XML sitemap (Google indexing), etc.

User experience

Whether you end up first or last at Google SERP is not because Google doesn’t like your name or your font colour, it’s purely based on user statistics. The user statistics is derived based on the time spent on page, bounce rate, conversion rate, load time, etc. The final conclusion is basically to decide whether  users are able to retrieve results of what they are looking for? Are you a verified source with reliable information?

If you can prove this to Google you get to stay on their first page of search results. Statistics show that not more than  75% of Internet users have the patience to look out for data  that remains past page 1, hence a top ranking can impart major value.

Have a clear and concise idea on which internal links (from within your website) and external links (from other sources) you link to and from. You also need to keep track of other resources linking back to you for authority. Connected to the right sources or being the referral resource for an esteemed organization can enhance your credibility and brand reputation to unparalleled levels.

How Signal Comes Across as a Challenge to Insta and FB in terms of Privacy Policy?

Private data of users in social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram is not safe”, says the encrypted message app Signal. It has been found that with a series of ads on Instagram, released by Signal, they are actively challenging the privacy policies of Instagram and Facebook.

Signal stated that social media kings like Facebook are not providing the crystal bowl of social media, but they are creating a loophole to get access to your private data.

Signal added that, using as many ways as possible, data gets massively collected from Insta, Facebook and WhatsApp and finally gets sold.

Signal put light into their targeted ad marketing strategy. The team revealed that they have developed a multi variant targeted ad marketing strategy. It shows an exact replica of the data that has been collected about you by Facebook and to whom the access has been sold to.

It has been found that Facebook has at once, blocked Signal from creating more damage to their authenticity. With many insights that they have shared on Instagram, Signal tries to convey to avid social media users how intrusion into your privacy takes place and data theft takes place through the backdoors.

Facebook-owned WhatsApp’s new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy set fire to a fresh  debate on privacy concerns. With this burning issue on the centre stage, both Signal and Telegram achieved significant new users. According to statistics, Telegram and Signal has made an escalating growth by 1200%, with a visible reduction in the WhatsApp users.

Signal app beats WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram

Tenser Tower, a renowned Mobile Application analytics company has revealed that from January 2021, there has been a strong growth in the users installing and actively engaging in Signal and Telegram. Within the first quarter of 2021, 1192 percentile of app downloads and 64 million users worldwide were recorded for Signal. And 98 percentile of app downloads and 161 million users worldwide has been recorded for Telegram in the same time frame.

Though January witnessed a steep growth in the active downloads and engagement of Signal App, a decrease in the numbers was found, but still, it’s continuously maintaining a steady pace of growth with 2.8 million downloads.

Facebook has come on the frontline stating that Signal has been targeting Facebook with illegitimate accusations. Facebook spokesperson also commented that it’s just a public stint by Signal.

Google June 2021 Core Update Rolls Out!

The June 2021 core update that was announced on June 2, came to be noticed as an extraordinary one. We can conclude that the SEO community didn’t notice the sudden changes made. The rollout came to be seen as remarkably slow or even a stalled one.

Many Data providers opinionated that this respective update brought about fluctuations that lasted for days. Google reported that most of the core updates would soon start to roll out over a period of 14 days. However, this update started with a delay and corresponding changes in ranking and traffic was reflected after a while!

It’s a global update. No specific mentions were made to any region, language or category of web sites. It is highly regarded as a classic “broad core update”.

  • Another update to roll out sooner

Google mentioned that the update two different core updates will launch in one month after the next.

  • Stay alert for revisions

With yet another update coming in a month, whatever gains or losses you acquired from the June 2021 core update, may reverse itself next month.

  • Lookout for more updates

Page experience update is said to roll out in mid-June. Though page experience can’t be regarded as a major factor to decide site rankings, confusion may arise on its proportionality with core updates.

What should I do if I’m impacted by this core update?

It is still a vague idea why the rollout took so long to be noticed. The SEO community started to notice changes.  Huge drops or gains were witnessed by some sites but others didn’t see much changes. It seems like this core update, at least part one of it, was weaker than some past core updates according to some data providers, but others saw this to be a stronger update.

With no proactive measures revealed by Google on how to tackle a site rank dropping, and if you are hit, it’s best to keep calm and wait for the consecutive update that’s due soon, and hopefully, things may turn out to be better.
